Avaliação da qualidade metodológica de meta-análises sobre intervenções para a redução da reiteração infracional juvenil

Resumen
A qualidade metodológica empregada nas pesquisas impacta o seus resultados, podendo produzir vieses. Assim, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de outras revisões sistemáticas e meta-análises acerca da eficácia de programas de intervenção psicossocial para redução da reiteração infracional em jovens infratores, visando descrever suas características e avaliar seu rigor metodológico. Dentre os 25 artigos incluídos, verificou-se que a maioria (n= 15) foi proveniente dos Estados Unidos, assim como a maior parte dos estudos (n= 20) realizou cálculos meta-analíticos em detrimento das sínteses narrativas. Ademais, os artigos incluídos apresentaram uma produção crescente a partir do anos 2000, com publicações entre 1985 e 2023. A qualidade metodológica da maioria dos artigos (n= 18) foi classificada pela ferramenta AMSTAR-2 como criticamente baixa. As características dos artigos incluídos podem ser compreendidas por meio de dados históricos acerca do desenvolvimento sociopolítico do sistema de justiça juvenil e do desenvolvimento científico do próprio método meta-analítico. Por sua vez, a baixa qualidade metodológica verificada aponta para a falta de transparência na produção de relatórios de meta-análises no campo de estudo voltados à eficácia de intervenções psicossociais. Desse modo, são discutidos alguns caminhos possíveis para transpor as lacunas existentes.
